Well, that wasn’t very fun. Not a whole lot to say about the Dartmouth game. At least Jake had the foresight to realize that there wouldn’t be a ton of points. Let’s just hope and pray that we can cash in on tonight’s game to right the ship. The metrics say we should win by around the spread, but eyeballs seem to say otherwise.

Ok, I do think that Georgetown may have smooth sailing if Tim Ighoefe plays. We forget how much we have relied on the center position since Ewing became the coach. But, I just find it hard to believe that the past three days will be enough to clear him from concussion protocol. It just really feels like 13.5 would be way too much for the Hoyas to reasonably cover. Consider this one an emotional hedge against a 2-0 American team.

Well, Saturday’s result was undoubtedly disappointing, but at least we cashed out if you followed my advice. The Hoyas need to earn my trust before I can confidently advise betting on them. I hope to see a much more confident and less nervous team going forward: something more like the team that we saw kick off Saturday’s second half. Until I see that for an entire game however, a double digit spread is outside the realm of possibility, no matter the opponent. Prove me wrong, Hoyas.

I have no faith in this team. We’re already at that point in the season where if they don’t win, I will officially retire from being both a fan and a quasi-degenerate. Go big or go home, literally.

I really don’t like this line, or this game in general. After what we saw in the opener, I just don’t have any confidence in Georgetown covering a double digit spread. Until I see a better product on the court, I can’t bring myself to slam the Hoyas in the manner which I did during last year’s run.
