I really, really want us to pull this one out. People may not realize, but Seton Hall has the 3rd best KenPom in the Big East behind the ranked losers. But, our last game against the Pirates seemed to indicate that this is just an incredibly awkward matchup for us. Hereâs the stat that worries me the most; Georgetown and Seton Hall have the 30th and 3rd tallest teams in the country, respectively. Given that the Hoyas are a team that depends decently heavily on Wahabâs success bodying guys in the paint, there is reasonable cause for concern tonight. Then again, we always seem to overperform at unexpected times. Responsibly flirt with the under and Seton Hall in a game that could be characterized best by clogged lanes and poor shooting opportunities.

Does Kevin Willard really make more adjustments than a chiropractor? I suppose weâll find out tonight. For months I have been saying Seton Hall is one of the more slept on teams in the Big East this season, due to their size and depth. Be on the lookout for them come Big East Tourney time. Like Bobby said, we match up with the Hall rather abysmally. My hopes for a Hoya victory are rather low, though it would be nice to ruin the nights of my Dad and all of his Seton Hall alumni buddies watching the game together. Maybe they can pool some cash together and tail my picks? Nonetheless, Iâm banking on Georgetown to ride this wave of momentum and come out red-hot tonight to give me a little bit of insurance by half time. Yet again thereâs a chance that the week off will lead to extremely sloppy Georgetown play out of the gate, but scared money donât make no money, right?

I donât care about the damn matchups, just give me the damn points. C’mon man, this is the effing Hoyas.

Well, weâre right back where we started some several months ago: net even. Feels so wrong, but boy does it feel good. That being said, Mamu is a matchup nightmare, and Iâm not sure if weâre going to get the Hoyas from the first Creighton game or the second.
However, Iâm going to pull out Armenâs achilles heel – advanced stats. Seton Hall is in fact 11-0 when it holds opponents to 68 or fewer points, and Georgetown is 0-6 when its offense scores 69 points or fewer. In their last five games, the Pirates have allowed an average of 59.8 points per game. So what Iâm trying to say is, I have no idea whoâs going to win the game, and the spread is too low for me to see any value. The Hoyas have been scoring lately, so give me the over.
